Synopsis of short film Khisa 

(Marathi with  English Subtitles)( 15.31 min)

A Story of a young boy who decides to get a large pocket stitched for his school shirt, in which he keeps all his precious belongings - petals, coins, marble balls; A pocket, he is proud of.The little boy does not understand the politics of symbolism that adults engage in, and his pocket soon becomes a point of contention amongst elders in the village .This tragic story of the loss of innocence  in current symbolic times we live in.

Short Biography of Director and Producer

Raj Pritam More

Raj More is a visual contemporary fine artist and filmmaker. He is from JJ school of applied art Mumbai and working in visual art from 20 years. He win 67th National Film Awards/ Best Debut Director for 'KHISA'.Also  Winner of 54th National Academy award by Lalit Kala Academy New Delhi and Best Asian artist from Asia, Korea. 

His mainstream PP cine production produces a film projects. His debut directed and produces short film "KHISA"(pocket) get  National Film Awards and so international awards and travel in all film festival circuit ground the world festivals.

Short Biography of Producer  and editor 

Santosh Maithani

Santosh Maithani is Mumbai based filmmaker-editor. He has worked as an editor for many years in commercials, documentaries and feature films. He has created online content for renowned brands including Smirnoff, Chevrolet, Arla, DHL and won several awards internationally for his work. Lately he has been associated with Hindi films “Toilet ek prem katha”and “Batti gul meter chalu”. 

Now he is Producer and editor of 'Khisa'
